Networks and Representation

 

3VA runs a number of networks and events aimed at providing local groups with an opportunity to share information, experience and expertise while getting to know each other.

 

3VA also works to support the sector being represented in local partnerships and decision-making groups, either by acting as an advocate of the sector or where possile through elected community representatives.

 

Wealden Local Strategic Partnership

Changes to ambulance service provision

  A 'Make Ready' centre at Polegate will be set up with community response posts around the district. The idea is centralise cleaning, repair and restocking services to make them more efficient. For further information about the plans click here.

There was also some discussion about the Ashdown Forest Protection Zone and how it affects local businesses. Further information about the protection zone can be found here.
