NAVCA, the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action, is the national umbrella body for Councils for Voluntary Services, such as 3VA. Their Quality Award is available to all members and is described as "a rigorous, externally audited, evaluation of the quality of services offered to voluntary and community groups by local support and development organisations."

3VA submitted an extensive portfolio of evidence in support of its application and was subject to a day-long audit from NAVCA, which involved discussions with staff, trustees, funders, our members and other partner organisations. Following this significant investment over the summer, we are delighted to hear we have been formally awarded the NAVCA Quality Award.

Valid for three years, the award is given to organisations that can successfully demonstrate their competence in delivering high quality, need-led services locally across each of the core areas of a Council for Voluntary Services, something 3VA has always been dedicated to providing.
