Housing Benefits Cut Event

Housing benefit cuts introduced in April and more on the horizon may have a substantial impact on the lives of voluntary groups’ service users, and Eastbourne Community Network are running this free event this Monday (12 September) to explain the cuts that are being introduced. Simon Parkin, Benefits Operational Manager for Eastbourne Borough Council, will speak to delegates at the WRVS Centre, Eastbourne from 4pm to 6pm. Though the focus will be on the situation in Eastbourne, the event will also be relevant to groups from other areas who may have clients or service users affected by the changes.
