New Keynote Speaker At 3VA AGM

Canada’s ‘Most Influential Knowledge Broker’ To Speak At 3VA AGM 2011
We are pleased to announce that Dr David J. Phipps has been added to the speakers at the 3VA AGM on Thursday 1 December from 3.30pm at All Saints Church, 21a Grange Road, Eastbourne.
 Dr Phipps was recently named the most influential knowledge broker in Canada and is a recognised world leader in the field of universities empowering local communities and the voluntary sector.
Other talks prior to the 3VA AGM will focus on the Government’s major NHS reforms, under the theme ‘Healthcare Reform and the Voluntary and Community Sector’. There will be a cross-section of speakers from organisations that are significantly involved in upcoming reforms:
- Sara Geater, Head of Engagement and Equality, NHS Sussex
- Martin Writer, Chairman of the Coastal Commissioning Group (the local GP Consortia).
- Miriam Miklaszewska, Development Coordinator, SpeakUp Forum
- Paul Rideout, Third Sector Policy Manager, East Sussex County Council
