WRITING A FUNDRAISING BID FOR EBC GRANT SCHEME
This is a one-off free course which will help you to develop the skills to write a funding bid that is more likely to be more successful, focusing specifically on Eastbourne Borough Council’s Small Grants Scheme, with tips and feedback on what they look for in a grant application. It will look at why funding applications are unsuccessful, what information EBC are looking for and how to provide that information in a clear and understandable way. It is a 3-hour course plus a practical session where you will be able to work on your application with the support of our funding advisors and / or make an appointment to discuss in more detail.

Who should attend?
This course is for Trustees, Managers, Fundraisers and other individuals who are responsible for or involved in writing funding bids for their voluntary and community organisations. The session will be particularly useful for beginners or those with limited experience of fundraising who wish to apply to Eastbourne Borough Council’s Small Grants Scheme.

Every year Eastbourne Borough Council awards grants to voluntary and community organisations for services and activities which benefit Eastbourne and its residents. EBC's Small Grant Scheme is open from 1st August 2019 - 25th October 2019. The maximum award is £5,000 and the grant must be spent in the following financial year.
