FareShare FoodCloud - Free Food Project

FareShare FoodCloud link charities and community groups to their local supermarket to receive free donated food on a regular basis. FareShare FoodCloud are UK based charities working to reduce surplus food. They receive fresh, quality and in-date surplus produce from the food industry and redistribute it to charities and community groups, who transform it into nutritious meals for vulnerable people. FareShare FoodCloud are currently working on a national project in partnership with Tesco offering charities and projects surplus in date food direct from their nearest supermarket. It’s free and only requires available volunteers to collect the food from their store in the morning/evening. FareShare FoodCloud have involved over 5,000 local charities and groups across the UK to join up and receive the food. The food can be used for snacks or prepared meals for the supported groups at your location or as food parcels for families on low  income.
