Economic Value Research

In the summer of 2010 3VA worked with HVA and RVA to conduct a survey of our combined membership. The ambition was to capture the economic contribution made by the voluntary and community sector in East Sussex, such as income, number of employees, sources of funding and hours given by volunteers.

With results from over 1,300 organisations the research has created a hugely influential report, both for us as a Council for Voluntary Services advocating on behalf of the sector, and also for our members to understand what it is they are part of and the unique contributions made to East Sussex by the sector.

The full report has now been published and is available online. We want to thank all our members who took part in this survey for taking the time and trouble to complete the relevant form, without you this report would not have been possible.

The full report can be viewed here: Valuing the Voluntary Sector.
