Financial Capability Worker - Money Advice Plus

Money Advice Plus is seeking a Financial Capability Worker to provide a telephone service for a project for residents in social housing. To be successful you will need a good knowledge of the issues involved in financial capability work, an excellent telephone manner and the ability to engage with people with a wide range of circumstances. You will also need to be able to liaise with other organisations involved in the project, and develop your own ideas to make contact with potential participants. An understanding of the money, debt and benefits advice process would be an advantage. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, will be able to plan and organise their own work and will feel comfortable supporting clients by phone. Although this post is initially being offered for one year it is possible that it will be available for a further year. Advertising your Job Opportunities

For a small fee, we will feature your job opportunity on our website, on Twitter and include it in the weekly e-Newsletter, which is sent to over 1,800 community and voluntary sector contacts in Eastbourne, Lewes District, Wealden and surrounding areas. - Member: £25
- Non-member: £50
Advertising your Training Opportunities
We also offer the opportunity to promote training in the e-Newsletter and on Twitter. Paid adverts will appear via each medium three times over consecutive weeks or once per month for three months. Organisations wishing to place an advert can also do so for a potential fee as follows:
- Member groups and non-member groups who offer free (or highly subsidised) training that is relevant to our membership can submit training opportunities for inclusion at no charge.
- Member groups who offer training for a fee will incur a £25 fee per training opportunity for inclusion.
- Non-member groups, companies, or individuals offering training for a fee will incur a £50 fee per training opportunity for inclusion.
