Allotment Assistant - Age Concern Eastbourne

Age Concern Eastbourne’s new allotment project aims to promote health and wellbeing for people 50+ and those with dementia through positive engagement and enjoyment of gardening/allotment activities. They are seeking to appoint a friendly, efficient and experienced part-time Allotment Assistant to co-ordinate the project and develop their allotment with volunteers and service users. The successful candidate will need good horticultural growing, planning and delivery skills along with experience of working in a support/caring service for people in later life (paid or voluntary) and an understanding of the issues that affect their lives.
