Allotment Assistant - Age Concern Eastbourne

Age Concern Eastbourne’s new allotment project aims to promote health and wellbeing for people 50+ and those with dementia through positive engagement and enjoyment of gardening/allotment activities. They are seeking to appoint a friendly, efficient and experienced part-time Allotment Assistant to co-ordinate the project and develop their allotment with volunteers and service users. The successful candidate will need good horticultural growing, planning and delivery skills along with experience of working in a support/caring service for people in later life (paid or voluntary) and an understanding of the issues that affect their lives. Young Crawley Project Worker - Crawley Community & Voluntary Service

Age Concern Eastbourne provides a Home from Hospital service across the Eastbourne, Seaford and Hailsham Clinical Commissioning Area service to over 55’s providing short term support to help people during the initial period after hospital discharge. They are seeking to appoint a friendly, efficient and experienced part-time Home From Hospital Assistant to support the team. For a small fee, we will feature the job opportunity on our website and include it in the e-Newsletter, which is sent to over 1,750 community and voluntary sector contacts each week.

Member: £25 per job description advertised

Non-member: £50 per job description advertised

 

We also offer the opportunity to promote training in the e-Newsletter. Organisations wishing to place an advert in the e-Newsletter can also do so for a potential fee as follows:

• Member groups and non-member groups who offer free (or highly subsidised) training that is relevant to our membership can submit items for inclusion at no charge.
• Member groups who offer training for a fee will incur a £25 fee per item for inclusion.
• Non-member groups who offer training for a fee will incur a £50 fee per item for inclusion.
