Description:
East Sussex Inclusive Music Group workshop With James Redwood & others East Sussex Music invites you to join a fun taster music workshop aimed at children and young people with Special Educational Needs/Disabilities (SEN/D). Anyone interested in making music aged 10-19 is invited to join in. Please contact us if you are younger/older. You do not need any prior experience. If you have an instrument, please bring it with you. Parents/carers and younger siblings are also invited to come and learn/play alongside their children. During the session, you will have the opportunity to try a number of instruments, create music and get a taste of making music with a mixed ability group. After these taster events, we are planning more longer term activities. Please note that video and photography will be taken during the session. We will ensure that you have the opportunity to tell us in person and in writing if you do not want your child's image taken. Any children 12 or under need to be accompanied by a parent/carer. Please be aware that we will have limited number of music tutors running the session, so you may need to stay with your child if they have specific support needs.
