Brighton Women's Centre (BWC) is recruiting an experienced and skilled Engagement Support Officer. BWC is at the forefront of a movement to work more effectively with women and girls with multiple vulnerabilities across Sussex. BWC places clients at the heart of its service and our approach is holistic and trauma informed to ensure women can achieve positive futures. This is a new role for BWC as part of a partnership project working with the Brighton Table Tennis Club (BTTC) and Friends, Families & Travellers (FFT) funded by Comic Relief. The key aim of the project is to improve health, wellbeing and future life opportunities of women with multiple complex needs in the city including those that are marginalised, homeless, insecurely housed or involved in the criminal justice system. The Engagement Support Officer will work with BTTC, FFT and BWC Volunteer Services Co-ordinator to encourage women to engage in table tennis to achieve the physical and mental health benefits it offers.
