Operating Under a Memorandum of Understanding with Eastbourne Borough Council, Creating Opportunities for All believes that every individual should have the opportunities to reach their potential and to flourish happily, or just the latter. The organisation's services include quality referral, fundraising, grant making, navigation, programme oversight, reporting, measuring outcomes and partnerships and looks to improve social mobility in Eastbourne from its current position in National League tables of 186/324. Thought to be one of Britain’s largest lecture societies with approximately 1,700 members, Eastbourne Ashridge Circle was formed in 1947 and has developed over seven decades into a prestigious lecture society. Membership is available to anyone subject to capacity. The Circle’s objective is to promote good citizenship through the holding of lectures on a diverse range of subjects aimed at enhancing knowledge of the world, both past and present. Mutual friendliness and sociability are the society’s watchwords and formality is kept to a minimum.

A registered charity, Eastbourne Dementia Action Alliance aims to make Eastbourne a dementia friendly town and to support people living with dementia and their carers by signposting them to information and choices about different dementia-friendly activities and where they can go for help and support.

Holding Space in Eastbourne aims to provide a safe space for families going through the mental ill health journey. The group provides education workshops, access to support, information and therapy.
