Discover, explore and enhance your well being Are you looking for new tools to support your mental health? Would you like to explore options and choices for your well being? Would you like to meet with others in a safe, supportive, confidential environment? A six-week Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) for Mental Health and Wellbeing course offers the opportunity to explore safe and simple tools you can use to maintain your well being and support you when you are facing challenges. The course is for up to 10 participants and is free of charge. *** Booking is essential*

**Introduction to Child Protection

This course is aimed to be an introductory course on Child Protection, open to anyone working with children or young people in the voluntary and community sector. The main objective is to raise awareness of child protection issues, procedures and signs and indicators of child abuse as well as enable staff to identify and respond to child protection concerns and to become aware of ESCC Child Protection Procedures to encourage and develop effective inter-agency communication where child protection matters arise.

Be Your Own Life Coach

Free 6-week course beginning on 16 June 2017. This course is all about helping you to know and appreciate your unique self and move forward in life happily and with confidence: 1) Develop strategies to nurture your confidence, resilience and self esteem; 2) Challenge negative thinking patterns and practise assertive communication to create wellbeing in yourself and in your relationships; 3) Learn how to set realistic and achievable goals.

SafeTALK: Suicide Alertness For Everyone

SafeTALK - Suicide Alertness For Everyone - is a half-day course that can help you make a difference. Learn to identify people with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources. This training prepares you to be a suicide alert helper by following the TALK steps (Tell, Ask, Listen and KeepSafe). These steps offer initial help in order to connect people having thoughts of suicide with more specialised support. The course runs from 1:30pm to 5.00pm. It is important you arrive promptly– we promise to finish on time!
