HIV and Ageing Awareness Training

Terence Higgins Trust is running a free HIV & Ageing Awareness training session relevant for anyone who works or volunteers with people who are over 50, or for anyone who works or may work with people living with HIV. Refreshments provided. Over 50s are now the fastest-growing group of people living with HIV. With numbers set to rise significantly over the next decade, it is possible that your organisation may need to support someone living with HIV in the near future. This training will cover HIV Awareness (transmission, treatment, myths), understanding the implications of ageing with HIV, how best to provide quality of care to people living with HIV, and personal stories of people living with HIV
